Vaishnavi H. Chennareddy

Vaishnavi studied Biomedical Physiology with a minor in Women’s Studies on the pre-med track. She was an active member of FRC for most of her undergraduate experience and remains deeply grateful for the community she found there. Through FRC, she met people with diverse passions, discovered new topics like Russian literature, and volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. One of Vaishnavi’s favorite memories from FRC was serving as Banquet Chair, where she planned a Harry Potter–themed semi-formal for members. Beyond FRC, she was the Founder and President of Partners for World Health, an organization dedicated to reducing medical waste through redistribution, and the Education Chair of Period Project, which works to provide menstrual supplies and help end period poverty. She was also involved in undergraduate research studying reproductive biology and served as a feminist scholar examining intersectionality and the social determinants of health. Vaishnavi presented her research at the CURO Symposium, Steeve Giguère Symposium, and the Institute for Women’s Studies Symposium. In her free time, she enjoys painting, learning new skills, and exploring Athens with friends.
